MCLAREN MERCEDES-BENZ 722 EDITION

722. The number refers to the start time (7:22 a.m.) for Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson when they won the 1955 Mille Miglia in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR.

The 722 Edition has a top speed of 337 km/h – which it reaches in only 21 seconds - and has a whopping 640 horsepower, running a 0-60 in less than four seconds.

Racing has progressed considerably since the heyday of Moss, but the ’07 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition is fit for a racer of his caliber, even today. On the outside, the car differs from the standard SLR with its red ‘722’ badges and black 19” alloy wheels, making the 722 Edition a massive force in SHIFT.
