Finding itself lacking in the growing ‘sport-compact’ market, Chevrolet decided to trick out its entry-level coupe, the Cobalt, and give it a performance model – the SS.

The Cobalt SS is a powerful little beast that looks mean – with a whale-tail spoiler and 18-inch wheels – and goes pretty well, too, with 205 horsepower from the factory, giving it more than several of its rivals, including the Honda Civic Si and Volkswagen GTI, which are also more expensive. 

It comes in an assortment of loud colors, from yellow to a burnt orange, but you can make it any color you want in SHIFT.
