BUGATTI VEYRON 16.4
When the Bugatti nameplate was revived in 2000 by Volkswagen, car enthusiasts began their wait for the world’s next supercar.
The Bugatti Veyron finally bowed in 2005 and to make a long story very short, it’s a feat in modern engineering unequaled in this decade.
Under the hood of this $1.1-million behemoth sits one of the most powerful production engines ever built: an 8-liter W-12 that is conservatively estimated at around 1,000 horsepower. It has a top speed of 408.5 km/h (or 254 mph) and runs 0-60 in a ridiculous 2.5 seconds.
The car has ten radiators, four superchargers and according to Bugatti, goes from top speed to a dead stop in less than ten seconds. Only 200 were ever made, so your best shot to get one is in SHIFT.
