Aston Martin Racing DBR9
First introduced as a racer in 2005, the DBR9 is based entirely off the V-12 DB9 coupe, keeping the same chassis, engine block and cylinder heads of the street-legal version.
To keep its weight down, the car is constructed entirely of carbon fiber composite, except on the roof, which is made of steel.
The bottom of the DBR9 is completely flat until the rear diffuser and can run 0-60 in a miniscule 3.4 seconds.
